Here is Caleb “saying his letters” (the alphabet). He can just about say them all or he will at least try them all. It is so funny how he knows what is going to happen next in the video and, for example, makes the “ahhhhh” on the video before they do. This was taken with my iPhone 4 while I was driving and holding the camera at the same time so please forgive any bumpy video.

On August 1, we toured the Coast Guard Tall Ship “Eagle”, moored at Savannah. It is a training ship that was acquired as a “war prize” after WWII. I scanned the cover of brochure they gave us so you can see it sailing at sea. Enjoy!

Here are 5 great Caleb videos that I have been excited to get posted.

In the first video, Caleb says his letters that he learned on “The Letter Factory” DVD (from Gammie). Caleb can say A, B, C, D, and F (but he says F by sniffing in with his nose real hard, not with his mouth – it is hilarious!)

In the second video, Caleb chases Sabrena in his car but Sabrena is riding his bike (way too small for her). It is really funny!

In the third video, Caleb goes down his new slide.

In video four, you can see what Caleb learned at swim lessons this summer. He can jump off the side, swim underwater, kick, and he practices swimming with his arms. NOTE: I recommend to start watching the video about 6:20 as that is a better segment of the video. Also there is a blank spot toward the end of the video.

In the fifth video, Caleb shows how good he can ride his car but he is still working on his pedaling with the bike. NOTE: For some reason the last half of the video goes in “slow motion” (he really drives the car much faster than that).

BONUS VIDEO: Here is the July 4th Parade that we had at Oldfield! Sabrena and her friend from Oklahoma, Lacy, decorated our golf cart for July 4. Caleb enjoyed the parade and got a gift from Mona, Sabrena’s boss, who was passing out toys to the kids. Enjoy!

After dinner last night, we drove up to Huntington Island (about 35 min) and Caleb and I ran on the beach. Caleb also looked for shells. Enjoy!

On Friday, June 11, I went to a VMware user group in Charlotte, NC and Trisha, Ruby, Caleb, and Sabrena all came so that they could go to the Billy Graham Library (and the mall). Here are pictures from the library:

House Pictures…

First off, here are some pictures of our new house, golf cart, and the hammock that I put together. There is also a nice picture of all of us in front of the house during Ruby’s visit (thanks to the timer on the camera). Also, there are two pictures of Sabrena fishing with an alligator in the lake behind her (look closely for that gator!) and the fish that Sabrena caught. AND, there are some pictures of the BEAUTIFUL painting of the Beaufort marsh that Uncle John and Aunt Melinda gave us (which John painted). Finally, watch for the travelling gnome!

Savannah Pictures…

Next we have pictures of two trips to Savannah. Caleb plays in the fountain, taffy being made at the candy store, pictures of Sabrena and Ruby up in the Tybee Island lighthouse, David, Trisha and Caleb walking on the beach (including a video), Ruby outside of “Lady and Son’s” (Paula Dean’s restaurant), and Caleb in a toy boat at Uncle Bubba’s restaurant (Paula’s brother). Harbor Town & Sea Pines

We went to Harbor Town which is in Sea Pines on Hilton Head Island. This is where the well known Hilton Head Lighthouse is located. Sabrena and Ruby went up in it and there are some good pictures from the top.
